Information for our out of town patients

With his considerable experience and education, Dr. Verret attracts patients from around the corner and around the world. In order to make the trip to Dallas as care free as possible for patients traveling to the city, Dr. Verret has developed a list of businesses he works with to take care of everything from travel arrangements to laundry.

Out of Town Consultation

Nothing takes the place of an in person consultation but Dr. Verret understands that some patients who are traveling from out of town or out of the country may not be able to meet in person in advance of scheduling time for a facial plastic surgical procedure. With this in mind, Dr. Verret offers telephone consultations to determine if patients are candidates for procedures.

Step 1 - Learn about the available cosmetic surgery procedures

Learning about what procedures may be available is the first step in an educated patient who can take part in the Innovations Experience™. Once you have learned everything you can about the procedures that Dr. Verret offers, it is time to schedule a phone consultation with Dr. Verret.

Step 2 - Schedule a Cosmetic Surgery Phone Consultation

Once you have determined that you are interested in facial plastic surgery, it is time to schedule a phone consultation with Dr. Verret. Simply call the office at 972.608.0100 and Dr. Verret's staff will be happy to schedule an appointment to speak with Dr. Verret.

Step 3 - Fill out Dr. Verret new plastic surgery patient paperwork

Once you have your appointment scheduled, please fill out our new cosmetic surgery paperwork. This information is necessary to have in our office before speaking with Dr. Verret. The paperwork contains administrative information about our practice as well as a detailed medical history to help Dr. Verret determine if you are a candidate for the procedures you are considering.

Step 4 - Speak with Dr. Verret

Once you have returned the new patient paperwork, it is time to speak with Dr. Verret. Dr. Verret will take all the time you need to ensure that your questions are answered. At the end of the consultation Dr. Verret will provide you with a detailed quote for the services that you have decided would provide the best facial rejuvenation.

Step 5 - Schedule your facial plastic surgery

Once you have spoken with Dr. Verret and determined that you wish to proceed with your facial rejuvenation, it is time to schedule your surgery. As outlined in the financial policies, a deposit is required. If you have not met with Dr. Verret in person, he will ask that you come in town the day before your scheduled procedure to meet with him in person. Keep in mind that after examining you in person, Dr. Verret may decide to change the surgical plan or avoid surgery all together. Though cancellations are after phone consultations, Dr. Verret is committed to patient safety and results over all else so cancellations are possible. Once all of the dates and times for your surgery are confirmed, Dr. Verret's office will send you a full packet of information including prescriptions and instructions around the time of surgery.

Step 6 - Arrange your trip to the Dallas Fort Worth area

After your surgery dates and times are confirmed, it is time to arrange for travel to Dallas. Dr. Verret has several local hotels and associated service agencies which provide discounts for his patients. After scheduling your procedure, Dr. Verret's staff will help you with any reservations you may need. If you are traveling alone, Dr. Verret's office can help to arrange for nursing or sitter care during your stay in the Dallas-Fort Worth area.

Step 7 - Travel for your facial plastic surgery

Finally it's time for your surgery. Dr. Verret will meet with you on the day before surgery and go over any final questions and perform a thorough physical examination to ensure that the plan you discussed on the phone is appropriate.

Step 8 - Follow Up after your cosmetic facial surgery

With all cosmetic surgical procedures, Dr. Verret sees his patients the day after surgery. Depending on how far away from the office you live and what procedures are done, you may be able to leave the Dallas metroplex within 2-3 days. For patients traveling from much farther distances, Dr. Verret will want you to stay in town until at least your one week post operative visit. For some procedures, either two weeks in Dallas or at least a return for a two week post operative visit may be necessary. In general, Dr. Verret likes to see his patients at one month after surgery, 3 months after surgery, and every 6 months after that. For patients traveling a long distance, other follow up schedules can be arranged and sometimes a simple phone call or e-mail will suffice. At any point though, Dr. Verret is more than happy to see his patients should there be any questions or concerns.
